MAUI

ALOHAAAAA!!!! We're back! Back to the heat...back to crazy busyness...back to reality. NO FUN. haha

Well- we went to Maui for two weeks with my family, and it was PERFECT! We started the trip just pretty much RELAXING - and then we did attempt to be adventurous. There were a lot of beach days, snorkeling, parasailing, and of course - laying out and EATING...A LOT! We did, for the first time, go up Haleakala, a dormant volcano. We all got up at 2 am (believe it or not) and drove up to the top to watch the sunrise. It was -without a doubt- one of the most spectacular things I have ever seen. You are literally above the clouds watching the sun make its first appearance. Absolutely INCREDIBLE. Photography has been something I've been into lately..still learning and have A LOT to learn of course! But here are some pictures from our trip :)
(WARNING - PICTURE OVERLOAD!!)

OKAY- So these are of Haleaka - the sunrise

As the sun was coming up, a native tribe nearby sang a chant "welcoming the sunrise." It was one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had. Something I will remember forever.

Summer

So we have been SPOILED by the beautiful June weather here in AZ! I LOVE IT!! My weeks are going by so fast...so I've been a little out of the blogging loop. I'm working at Mayo - and pretty much have no life! ha - but it's all good - I have no complaints! I do, however, miss seeing a lot of your faces :( Patrick and I have been totally MIA lately-I'm hoping we will be slowing down soon so we can actually have some fun! :)
Here are some recent pics from my camera - patty and the dogs. BRUISER IS HUGE!!!

Trey just received his Eagle! I have such and awesome brother- I am so proud of him. He put together humanitarian packages for his project. Here are some pics from his Court of Honor - my brother is such a stud!

And I can't help but put these pics of him up. They were on his slide show - and I just love them.

I got a JOB!! I am an Early Intervention Specialist - and I am LOVING IT!! I get to work with the little guys, babies 0 to 3 - Since I am a new Developmental Specialist, it might take me a while to get a full case load - so I am also interviewing with an Early Childhood Program at the Mayo Clinic...Wish me luck!! I'll keep you posted.
